Random Directx 10 for XP (2379 Reads

  Jebo-Devil writes "Directx 10 for XP is wanted from long time. An alpha version of it is available now. Alky Project has released a preview of Alky compatibility libraries for Microsoft DirectX 10 enabled games. This can be used for Windows Operating system other than Vista to play games which requires Directx 10. This project was aimed to make DirectX 10 compatible games to run on Non Vista operating systems.

I can't wait to see the new lines of DX10 video cards that come out and computers to handle them. Man its going to be great. With the introduction of the Intel Extreme Editions and DX10 I think pc gaming is going to the next level.

i have a 8800gts with vista installed just for directx 10 , i have the nvidia directx 10 demo which looks really good and the only game demo out is lost planet and honestly i am not impressed with that game, cant wait for some new games to get released

I wont install Vista for full DX10 support. DX10 cards are not cheap and Vista is eating my 2gB ddr2 800mhz memory and my cpu and so on. It causing -60% performance.... That's all :)
